Tanya's Miss UJ APK beginning
Before I continue, I want to show you where it all REALLY began: It was the lovely year of 2022, when your girl made Miss UJ top 20. This day was so great, I still have flashes of what it felt like. Please take a look >>
This was the day of the photoshoot. Little did I know that this was where my journey in that year ended. Yet, I was confident enough to say stay tuned.
Fast forward, year 2023 came and because of school I sat this one out. However, whenever I saw the auditions for Miss UJ post, my heart always drew towards it. 2024 is here and I am happy to say that I comeeeee backkk, but that's not how it all started. I watched Ms Tebatso`s status this faithful day this is where I encountered Ms Kwandiwe's Queen`s Coffee date event for tips and tricks to win the crown etc.
The coffee date went well, it took me a few hours to decide the next move. On the 18th of May I decided without any plan whatsoever to apply for Miss UJ 2024. Below is a video of me affirming myself
We then made Top 30! Whoop Whoop!!!
From then we had interviews for the selection of the Top 10. By the Grace of God we made Top 10.
It was so cute to be part of the announcements in Ms Mmako’s class the day results came out
Immediately after the announcements, the ball started rolling: we started with rehearsals, the energies differ at times but it’s always lovely being with the contestants. Fast forwards, campaigning challenges started rolling in…Firstly, representing #KeMosetsana Campaign for pads
Secondly, #BeUnique Care package. This came with hair products (a personal fav)
So this Friday it’s about to be super exciting! We will be having what we call EVENT ACTIVATION, this is where we meet all our sponsors the finalists and the committee. I hope to see you there 😃
