Who is Nthathana?
A 21 year old truly destined for greatness. Hailing from the capital city of Limpopo, Polokwane, I aspire to be an inspiration to many young people who want to shine and be heard. I strive to always leave impact in the lives of everyone who feels they aren’t worthy of their own greatness. I love creating content stills that showcase my found sense of swag and I am a FUTURE BRAND ICON!
The Journey
The 15th of April 2025, the day my eyes opened and i could see without my glasses. Passion brewed, Future realised and Confidence ready. The day I started drafting my entry monologue which came easy because I knew who I was and what I represented, the young boy who is not confident and hides his emotions because society deems it a weakness and so he can’t realise his true confidence. A facade that taints and destroys a whole lot of people.
And so the journey began, with nerve wrecking interviews where I had to keep my composure and head high I nailed what I considered till this day the most amazing experience not knowing that….
God indeed has it written in the stars for me to compete to be for the people, about the people and with the people. I was at home when i got the email that i had indeed made the finalists shortlist. An abrupt reaction from me just chilling with my family and they knew exactly what was going on, which then surely if my neighbours were strict would have resulted in a noise complaint - that was the excitement that roared throughout my home.
This journey will prove to you how much of yourself you still need to discover. We were asked for one word that describes us and my mind went into spiral. I asked my tight circle and they said that I am confident, tenacious, kind, light, smart, mature. My vocab abilities then landed me at Magnetic. Very self-explanatory, I am able to make people feel safe around me. Not only that but in a large room filled with people, they tend to gravitate towards my energy as if they have known me before and that is just how want to be perceived even though i don’t really care about people’s perceptions of me because sometimes it may seem pretentious but it is my truth.

I was honoured to be partnered with such a POWERHOUSE, Mishka Mohun, for our Mosetsana Pads Innovation Presentation. A dynamic DUO set to take on the task with GRIT and passion!!!
Mijona
Mijona Cosmetics then obviously knows that a KING has to smell good and look good! Hampering us with a selection of perfumes, tissue oil and hand lotion(those who know me know that I love moist skin and good scents) these form part of my everyday routine when I am getting ready to go to campus.
After a month of Mijona usage, I most definitely feel like a KING. YOUR KING that is and that will only be possible if you vote for me to be your public choice winner. That link up there…. feel free to abuse it. thatis the only abuse I will condone! GOOOO!!!
Unique Choice
Who thought that I will honour my matriarch in this journey? Unique Choice afforded me an opportunity to really delve into my gratitude. From support to laughter to grief these women have shaped my values and beliefs into those of an upstanding man. A man who values his crown and the people he comes across in his life.
Even my barber now prefers these products because the prior hassle is now history, I am talking softer and richer hair and he also know that I love my crown shining and my favourite product from Unique Choice is the Oil Sheen Spray!
