My name is Nontsikelelo Nkosi also known as Lelo, a 23 year old who believes in the power of dreams coming true. I am an aspiring attorney, a model, a news anchor and… A Miss/Mr UJ APK Top 10 Finalist 2024!
Please join me as I embark on my journey to the crown!
Being here is a dream come true, a blessing! Making the Top 10 felt so surreal, it was what I had been long praying for and I am blessed to be apart of such a lovely opportunity filled with self-discovery, dedication and hardwork.
Reflection : This picture was shot on the last day of video submission/applications (self-doubt & fear had its hand over me) but I took the leap of faith -and… I MADE IT!!
Top 30 : I made it!!
I was so happy having made top 30, the scary part? The interview round.
But this moment right here, a proud moment.
Short story : One can never be prepared enough for something that could change their life forever, this is something that would force me to get out of my comfort zone, something that will cultivate me into becoming the best version of myself so I can be ready to pour into the next cup.
Interview day came, I prepared for it prior, watching YouTube videos and writing down how I related to our theme ‘The Rising Phoenix’.
(Onkemetse and I were calming one another down when, praying and going over our introductions in the bathroom) that’s how bad we wanted it and guess what? We both made it, gracefully so because God did.
A Miss/Mr UJ APK Top 10 Finalist 2024!
