As businesses and institutions increasingly seek to understand not just what is happening in their data but why, causal inference is moving from the academic periphery into the heart of modern decision-making. At Acalytica, we believe in empowering communities with the latest tools and knowledge—and that’s why we’re excited to spotlight an unmissable event: The Causal Data Science Meeting 2025, taking place virtually from November 12–13, 2025.
🧠 What Is It?
Hosted by experts from LMU Munich, Copenhagen Business School (CBS), and Maastricht University, this two-day online workshop brings together researchers and practitioners who are shaping the future of causal machine learning. From A/B testing and causal discovery to reinforcement learning and policy evaluation, this event is where ideas meet impact.
No formal proceedings will be published—this is an open space for genuine exchange, peer learning, and exploration of cutting-edge ideas.
🎤 Keynote Spotlight
We’re especially looking forward to the keynote by Prof. Stefan Feuerriegel, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Management at LMU Munich. His research sits at the intersection of AI, decision science, and societal impact, making him a compelling thought leader for this year’s gathering.
