The prestigious Mr & Miss UJ APK 2025 pageant is officially underway, marking two decades of empowering leadership, talent, and purpose-driven beauty at the University of Johannesburg’s Auckland Park Kingsway (APK) campus.
This year’s theme, “Radiance Through Resilience,” honours the strength, grace, and determination of students who are rewriting the narrative of youth leadership and self-expression. As UJ celebrates 20 years of academic and social impact, the pageant shines a light on student excellence both on and off the stage.
“Mr & Miss UJ APK isn’t just about looks,” says the organising committee, “it’s about confidence, compassion, and the courage to represent a generation.”
The 2025 finalists were carefully selected from a diverse group of UJ students and now represent the Top 10 for both Mr and Miss categories. Each contestant has a dedicated Acalytica profile showcasing their journey, photos, and a unique platform they advocate for — ranging from mental health to sustainability, entrepreneurship to gender equity.
