The African digital renaissance is unfolding and no-code builders are leading the charge. As part of this momentum, Acalytica is proud to launch the Lovable Africa Community Insights initiative: a pan-African effort to spotlight and support how local creators are using Lovable.dev to build, launch, and grow world-class digital experiences.

Lovable is a powerful tool that helps people design software visually, without writing code. Whether you’re prototyping a health-tech solution, building a fintech MVP, or experimenting with AI workflows, Lovable empowers anyone to create quickly and beautifully. But to truly make an impact in Africa, it has to reflect the real needs, ideas, and challenges of African builders.

That’s where you come in.

What Is Lovable Africa?

Lovable Africa is a community-driven initiative designed to:

  1. Understand who is using Lovable in Africa and how they’re applying it
  2. Surface local talent and stories for regional and global recognition
  3. Identify key support gaps and opportunities for community growth
  4. Build a continent-wide network of no-code/low-code innovators

It’s not just about collecting data. It’s about connecting the dots between people, ideas, and tools—and making sure African voices shape the future of visual development.

How to Get Involved

We’ve created a simple form that takes just 3–5 minutes to complete. Click here to share your insights

Whether you're:

  1. A solo maker in Nairobi or Harare building a side hustle
  2. A design student in Lagos learning automation
  3. A startup team in Cape Town building your next big thing

We want to hear from you.

Why This Matters

Historically, Africa has been underrepresented in the global tech narrative, especially in AI, no-code, and product development ecosystems. But this is changing. Rapidly.

“We’re not waiting to be included. We’re building ourselves in.” — Edzai Zvobwo, CEO of Acalytica

By understanding how Lovable is used across Africa, we can localise support, host relevant events, and showcase African creativity on the global stage.

What Comes Next?

This is just the beginning. Lovable Africa will evolve into:

  1. Online and offline meetups
  2. Hackathons with real-world impact
  3. Localised learning resources and mentorship
  4. Showcases for projects built using Lovable.dev

Our dream? A vibrant, self-sustaining African ecosystem of visual developers who aren't just using Lovable—but defining what’s possible with it.

Powered by Acalytica

Acalytica is a South African-born digital growth platform helping creators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses launch and monetise their online presence with powerful no-code tools.

We believe that tech should be a lever for economic inclusion, not exclusion. Lovable Africa is our way of making sure the next generation of African builders has access to the tools, recognition, and networks they need to thrive.
